Greg Lane had a 300 game using the original Break and followed that up with a 299 a few nights later using the Break Pearl in Lumberton, NC. On the reginal scene Chris Collins finished 3rd in Rocky Mount, NC using the Break and Creature Pearl after leading by almost 100 pins headed into match play. Charles Bowman had a 300 game with the Creature at Adams Lanes in Philadelphia, PA after having his ball drilled by Art Swain of Stay on Top pro shop in Lawnside, NJ.

Greg Bueche shot 300 with a Pearl Creature at AMF Wonder Lanes in San Antonio, Texas he followed that up less than 7 days later with a 289-299-179 767 series. In between Greg shot games of 230-259-299 for a 788 series at Fiesta Lanes.

James Browning of Houston Texas keeps up his torrent pace with two more 800 series using his Creature at Emerald Bowl. James had games of 257-290-258 for an 805 series and then followed that up the next week with 300-247-277 for an 824 series.

Jeff Rozek of Muskego, WI had John Megna drill him a new Creature. Turns out it was one of the best decisions he ever made. Jeff struggled the first game only managing a 236 and then ripped off 24 straight strikes to finish 300, 300 for an 836 series at Sunset Bowl

John Megna owner and operator of John Megna's Pro Shop in Milwaukee, WI shot 300 with his new Creature Pearl Tuesday. John drilled the ball up earlier in the day and almost shot 2 - 300's that night, before settling for a 760 series at Blue Mound Bowl.

James Browning of Houston Texas continued his hot streak using the Creature featuring it's S40 coverstock. Last week in two different houses Emerald Bowl and Palace Lanes James recorded two 800 series 265-245-299 for an 809 series at Emerald, and 279-246-279 for a 804 at Palace Lanes.

More scores to report Chris Kidd shot 300 using his Break last week at 1000 Oaks in San Antonio, Texas and David Gorsh shot his first career 300 last night using his Break at AMF Wonder Lanes. David as reported by his friends is 102 years old, not sure we believe that, but it's what was reported.

Tournament Win
Michael Wittendorff won the Copenhagen Open using the Break and Break Pearl over the weekend. Michael averaged 251 during 6 games of qualifying and then won the title match with a 224-213 victory.

Peter Ljung used the Break Pearl to win the last major and the biggest tournament at the EBT. In the stepladder finals Peter defeated Osku Palermaa 232-217, Ronnie Russel 194-160, and in the title match Mike Fagan 221-187. Peter used the Break and Break Pearl during qualifying.

John Lough had games of 300-269-239 for an 808 series using the Break Pearl at Davenport Lanes in Davenport, WA. It was the first 800 series in the center's 46 year existence and only the second 300 game.

Dylan Ruff had a breakout night last night using his Break. Recording 30 consecutive strikes at one point, Dylan had games of 248-300-284 for an 832 series. Dylan, who works at KC's Pro Shop in Cameron NC, should have bragging rights around the shop for at least a day or two. Dylan drilled his Break with the pin above the ring finger and the mass bias in the 5:00 o'clock position.

event held at the Gold Coast Hotel, Casino and
Bowling
Center , 21-24 Jan
08, featured 175 Active Duty, Retired, and Senior Retired teams, the
largest turnout in tournament history. Quality equipment led to quality
results (220+ team ave). Using the Break and the Break
Pearl as the
primary weapons of choice, the team made up of US Air Force members
stayed near the top of the standings throughout the week before finally
taking over the team all-events lead on the third day. Team highlights

Mickey Conner of Staunton, VA shot his first 300 of his career using a Break. Mickey had the ball drilled by Joe Thomas of Striking Results Pro Shop! This is Mickey's first 300 after numerous close calls in 20 plus years of bowling.

James Browning shot 300 this week using his Creature and finished with a 769 series. James states "I would like to say that this ball is very consistent, less prone to the over and unders, keeps the pins low and in play, which in turn allows the user to make an un-pressured stroke.
Responds very well to hand positions changes which is more important to me than a ball that is over aggressive".

Justin Ludwig a 17 year old youth bowler from San Antonio, Texas drilled a Break Pearl and in less than a week records a new personal high with an 805 series. Justin had games of 278-279-248 at AMF Ponderosa Lanes. Justin had the ball drilled by Joey Brock of Dynamic Pro Shop. Justin states "this ball is flat out awesome".

Ken Carson has been on fire with his Break drilled by Randy Battistus of Striking Concepts in
Wallinfton, NJ . It started with a 279 the last game on 1/6/08 Ken followed that up with 298 the first game on 1/13/08 before getting serious. On 1/20/08 at Bowl-a-Drome in NJ Ken went 300-276-248 for an 824 series, the next night at Lodi Lanes Ken had games of 300-255-248 for an 803 series.

The second week James used the ball he had games of 299-254-279 for an 832 set. James shot the games at Emerald Bowl in Houston, Texas. Bowling at Three Rivers Bowl in Quebec, Canada Jonathan Simoneau recorded perfection twice and flirted with a third leaving only one 10 pin and a stubborn 8 pin. Jonathan placed the pin at 4" to his PAP and the mass bias 1" past his VAL. Jonathan stated "I played from 25 at the arrows out to 4-5 board at my breakpoint. This is the best ball I've had in my life!!!"
